Sometimes an author goes on a great streak – creating lots of stories and planning. But suddenly, they come up short and think “now what?”

After I published my first book, I wanted to do something totally different. I became a substitute teacher!

The writing style that I’ve used so far is rhyming in my books, or rhymed prose. It is a poetic device that can be tricky to use.

Ollie the Octopus was inspired by a location that I lived in, and various animals that I saw while working there.
